Future Engineers: Conquering Forces

Future Engineers is back at the National Railway Museum, York, from October 21 with fun and fascinating workshops for the whole family and interactive activities to ignite imaginations. Highlights of this October half-term event include:

Fun for families

Join us for family fun this October half term with quiz shows, interactive rap, storytelling, prizes and dance workshops. Take a ride on our miniature railway, find out how to move like a train and dig deep into your minds as you explore the world of tunnelling.

Drop-in activities

Discover your inner engineer as you test and trial your prototypes in our drop-in activities. Get hands-on and find out how high-speed travel works using magnets and create the most streamlined engine of all time. Have your burning questions answered by engineers as you chill out in our engineering hub.
